Dear Airport Users,

Effective January 1, 2027, AVGAS 100LL fuel will only be supplied with tax applied at Eisenach-Kindel Airport. Tax-exempt refueling with AVGAS 100LL will no longer be possible from this date.

For users who have previously purchased AVGAS 100LL with tax applied, nothing will change.

The comparatively low demand for tax-exempt AVGAS 100LL is not proportionate to the administrative and financial effort required for the associated trading of emission certificates.

For JET A-1 fuel, everything remains unchanged, and it will continue to be supplied tax-exempt to authorized users. The corresponding authorization must be presented before refueling, as before.

Dear aerodrome users,

we would like to inform you that Eisenach-Kindel Aerodrome is switching from the previous billing system aerops Basic to the new system aerops AMS (Airport Management System).

As part of this changeover, aerops Basic at Eisenach-Kindel Aerodrome will be deactivated on 03/11/2026. The switch to aerops AMS is expected to be completed by 01/12/2026. During this transition period, processing your aerodrome charges via aerops will temporarily not be possible.

What does this mean for you?

From 03/11/2026 until the expected completion of the changeover, you can pay your aerodrome charges exclusively during published operating hours directly to the Duty Manager. The following payment options are available to you:

• Cash payment
• Card payment

Nothing changes for customers whose aerodrome charges are billed by invoice.

As soon as aerops AMS is available for processing, we will inform you again.

Please take this change into account for your future stays at Eisenach-Kindel Aerodrome.

Due to the German RaceWars racing event taking place from May 14, 2026, to May 17, 2026, the following flight operational restrictions will occur at Eisenach-Kindel Airport, which we ask you to observe:

from 2026-05-07 – 07:00 UTC to 2026-05-19 16:00 UTC

1. Taxiway “Charly” and Apron 3 closed for flight operations

from 2026-05-15 – 08:30 UTC to 2026-05-17 07:30 UTC

1. Taxiway “Bravo” closed for flight operations

from 2026-05-12 – 14:00 UTC to 2024-05-18 – 16:00 UTC (see NOTAM)

1. no solo flights by student pilots;
2. Threshold 28 displaced by 300 m to the west;
3. The remaining RWY length is restricted to 1,200 m between thresholds 10/28;
4. No marking of longitudinal stripes for the temporary threshold 28;
5. Aircraft over 2t MTOW-PPR
6. Obstacles in the closed area east of threshold 28;
7. No night flights, except for helicopters

from 2026-05-15 – 08:30 UTC to 2026-05-16 – 07:30 UTC and

from 2026-05-16 – 08:30 UTC to 2026-05-17 – 07:30 UTC

• Airport closed to all air traffic, except for helicopters

Please also observe the relevant aeronautical publications (NOTAM etc.), any notices posted at the airport, and instructions from the flight directors.

Please also expect increased arrival and departure traffic for the event and resulting traffic congestion.

Please prepare for the expected conditions and inform your customers, club members, and charterers accordingly.
